DID YOU KNOW?
Turtles can
be delightful creatures to have around, but also can be a
nightmare, some require expensive husbandry equipment,
enclosures, and lighting. They require a broad diet and spacious enclosures.
Water Turtles -
Sliders and other water turtles (painted, snapping, musk, and
others) require large aquatic enclosures, we usually ask that
you have outdoor, closed off ponds or water gardens, as only
the largest of aquariums are suitable. And depending on your
location will need to have suitable housing for the winter.
Land Turtles -
Land dwelling turtles such as box turtles need spacious
enclosures, secure outdoor enclosures are a plus. |
